Open 09h30 - 18h00 daily; 365 days a year.
When you plan to visit the Two Oceans Aquarium, it is recommended to allow 1 to 2 hours to enjoy the diverse and magnificent displays. Please wear comfortable shoes.
A limited number of baby carriers and wheelchairs are available to make your visit more comfortable.
If you would like to be taken on a guided tour, please ask for assistance at Visitor Services. Our volunteers are available to assist with any questions you may have so please look out for them.
Ask Visitor Services staff to stamp your hand with a re-entry stamp so that you can leave the Aquarium, have lunch at Bayfront Blu restaurant or in the V&A Waterfront and return to see the fish being fed in the I&J Predator Exhibit at 15h30 daily. You can also see penguins being fed daily at 12h00 and 15h00, the seals at 14h30 and the fishes in the Kelp Forest on Wednesdays at 11h30 and Sundays at 12h30.
To travel from the Aquarium to the Waterfront and back again, make use of the Water Taxi for a scenic and relaxing trip.
Take the children to the Holcim Activity Centre to enjoy puppet shows, puzzles, colouring in and other fun arts and crafts.
During the school holidays the Aquarium offers fantastic holiday activities for children.
Parking
Available behind the Two Oceans Aquarium. The cost for parking is R10 for the whole day. Please ask for your parking voucher which is refundable at the Aquarium´s ticket office.
Undercover parking is adjacent to the Two Oceans Aquarium at Portswood Square. Please note an hourly parking fee is charged and not refundable at the Aquarium´s ticket office.
